Avalon Beach RSL Club  2nd October 2002 To Whom It May Concern: Avalon Beach RSL Club Ltd installed the Sanyo ‘POS Magic’ stock system in 1999, which replaced the Sharp ‘SBA’ system. Sanyo POS Magic has far greater flexibility and is very user friendly. Once the database is formulated and key personnel are trained it requires very little maintenance. The software is updated regularly via the Internet from the Sanyo website and it has several levels of access to maintain it’s integrity. The advantage over our old system is that any product or price changes are immediate and can be done during trading hours, this includes level changes such as happy hours, which can be automated for any time. The loyalty system which is now activated gives us the opportunity to reward our members via the bar & restaurant areas and will only operate if the member has enough ‘loyalty points’ available. The reporting options are very comprehensive, stock control is easily monitored and with the use of the Portable Date entry unit for stock taking it makes the system complete.
