ENTERTAINING BRISBANE MADE EASY 

The Brisbane Entertainment Centre, with a seating capacity of up to 13,500 people, not only provides first class entertainment, but they also like to ensure patrons enjoy the very best of service at all the venues in the Centre. 

We went through a lengthy tendering process to find exactly the Point of Sale system that would suit our bars, merchandising outlets, candy bars, restaurants and function rooms.  We chose the Sanyo POS Magic system with 78 terminals and “found it to be the very best, especially in the back office, implementing stock,” said Brent Blackman, Business Manager, Brisbane Entertainment Centre. 

“We employ 600 casual staff and they have all found the system extremely easy to use and very user friendly.  Staff training has been minimal, I would say no more than 2 hours for casual staff, a little longer for those involved in stock control.  The huge number of pre-set prices on the system make life easy as staff are not continually looking up prices so we can serve our patrons faster and more efficiently.
